1. Register
In just two minutes you can register your interest by completing one quick and easy form.
2. Initial Contact
As soon as a suitable work placement becomes available, one of our friendly, knowledgeable team will be in touch. As the UK’s leading insourcer, demand for our clinicians is high.
3. Screening
You’ll be asked to submit relevant documentation and certificates which will allow our recruitment and clinical leads to assess your suitability to join the team.
4. Onboarding
Once approved, you’ll complete and return your compliance documents – this is to ensure we maintain a high quality, safe working environment for both our customers and our patients.
5. Induction
You will be given access to the app and community platform. You can now start to book your shifts.
6. First shift
The operations team and nurse in charge will be on hand to offer support and ensure your first day as part of the 18 Week Support team runs smoothly. Welcome aboard!

Is the rate per day or per session?
The day rate that our team will provide refers to a full day.
How many patients would I see throughout the day?
That will depend on which specialty. Please reach out to our teams to learn more.
Why do I need indemnity insurance?
Indemnity insurance provides you with cover for anything that sits outside of CNST cover, which is provided by the NHS.
Can I join as a registrar?
You can join as registrar as we do offer surgical assistant roles for Urology, Orthopaedics and General Surgery. If you are a registrar in other specialties, please reach out to our teams to learn more about potential opportunities.
